Can VDP send syslog events?

I've been unable to determine if the VDP software can send events/logs to a syslog server.  I've checked all the documentation I can find and multiple searches on Google and VMware's forums, but have come up empty.  I know you can grab the archive of all the logs, but that is not exactly easy to monitor.

Anyone know if it is possible with minimal of configuration/modification of the VM?

Thanks!

I'm also trying to find a way to send the logs from the VDP to the new vCenter Log Insight appliance.

I apologize, I should have updated my post.

I contacted VMware Support and opened a ticket about this.  I was told that SYSLOG could be used to send OS events/logs, however the application that runs the VDP software does not support SYSLOG functionality.

So, basically, you can see if someone logs into the OS of the VM, but not about any events of the backups...
