Can VDP do incremental backup on files?

I can find that VDP Advanced supports incremental backup for SQL server, Exchange with the agent provided, but couldn't find that for files backup.

Does VDP or VDPA support incremental file backup? Thanks.

I meant for example I have a VM data siz 500G where only 1G of data is updated daily. Can I do a full backup (500G) on Sunday and then do incremental backup (1G updated files) in the weekday evenings with VDP in order to minimize the backup time? Thanks.

VDP does incremental backup by leveraging CBT(Change Block Tracking) feature of vmkernel.

The Backup/Restore VM task while backup is in progress shows either (F) or (I) in task details.
