Backup of VM templates?

Hello all,

VDR fails backing up my VM templates backause no snapshot could be created.

Does VDR even support backup of templates? I haven't found a reference in the manual...

Data Recovery does not support virtual machine template backup.

VDR uses snapshot mechanim for creating backups, backing up template is not supported as you cant take snapshot for templates

If Template backups are important you may want to check some of the Third Party solutions, I believe some can backup Templates without issue.
