Backup Verification Job still running.

I notice that some of these verification jobs take a long time. I have two of them running on two different appliances, One started on the 30th and the other on the 29th. They don't appear to be incrementing any or it is just moving that slow. Both of these appliances show a high load

Both of them are running backups to local storage on dell server that is not in use by any production server it's just for storage. Any tips that I could use to improve the performance would be great.

Did you run a performance test during install?  If so what was the result?
