AMD FX(tm)-6 core processor
4 NIC on each host
4 TB shared storage
win7 OS
shared storage error when i am working with 2 physical hosts
when i am working with virtual hosts the error will be
ERROR:
this host currently has no mangement network redudancy
this host has no isolated addresses defined as required by vsphere HA
this host currently has no mangement network redudancy
This message usually shows up if the Management Network is attached to a vSwitch with only a single uplink to the physical network.
this host has no isolated addresses defined as required by vsphere HA
The deafult Isolation address is the Management Network's default gateway. Can you confirm that this is set correctly?
Alternatively you may configure other isolation addresses (see http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1002117)
André
also, make sure that your gateway is a device which can be pinged. Otherwise you will receive an error.
