disabling Datastore Heartbeating?

Hi everyone,

is there a possibility to disabling datastore heartbeating on vsphere 5...??

i my lab with 2 esx hosts and a virtual storage appliance (SvSAN) i have the issue that i never get an host isolation response...

i have checked a lot and the isolation address (std. gateway) is not replying but the isolation response doesnt work...

i think this is an issue of datastore heartbeating and therefor i want to disable this feature for tests...

thanks for your answers..

i found out another thing...

one second after the log entry in "fdm.log" where the host should shutdown my VM appears the following line in the "vpxa.log":

2012-03-26T08:50:23.009Z [46629B90 verbose 'Default' opID=SWI-4506f11c] [VpxaMoVm::CheckMoVm] did not find a VM with ID 2 in the vmList
2012-03-26T08:50:23.010Z [46629B90 verbose 'Default' opID=SWI-4506f11c] [VpxaAlarm] VM with vmid = 2 not found

is this the error why my vm will not shutdown?

in the "fdm.log" the name "SvSAN-ESX.vmx" appears, but no vm-id...

where can i check what "VM ID 2" should be?

I'd suggest filing an SR to get help with this issue. We'll need to look mroe carefully at the vm-support logs.
