Two ESX, replicating, high availability

Hey there guys,

We have two high spec Lenovo servers. Both have esx installed, each having 4-5 VMs installed.

One of the esx will act as a primary one, with all the users using 4-5 VMs in that. We want to implement a secondary esx, which replicates from primary one and kicks in if the primary one has any fault or does not work, within few mins or an hour max.

Is there any solution provided by VMWare on this? Any links/documentation on this please?

Thanks.

Hi

I will make a few assumptions please let me know if I am incorrect.

You should be able to create an HA cluster that will fail over the load should either host fail.

I am not sure if the storage you are using is shared or not.

Take a look here https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/6.7/com.vmware.vsphere.avail.doc/GUID-4BC60283-B638-472F-B...

The first question to ask indeed is, do you have any kind of shared storage?
