Supported Fault Tolerance Direct-attached 10G Network?

We have to upgrade a new installation because the client needs FT for 2 VM. The question is that it´s Supported Fault Tolerance direct-attached 10G network between 2 ESXi hosts?

Thank you, I ´ve seen the information but It doesn´t say nothing about the network requisites, only "Use a 10-Gbit logging network for FT and verify that the network is low latency. A dedicated FT network is highly recommended". I think that it´s probably that there wasn´t any problem if the hosts were connected directly only for FT network, but I haven´t found nothing official about it.
