Microsoft Cluster in VMware environment

Hello all,

Description of the scenario.
Two virtual machines in Microsoft File Server cluster at the location A, a contingency plan to do in the location B.
Question.
What functionality of vmware allows you to implement contingency on another site?
It is possible to aggregate network card to speed up communication and configure the virtual machine?

Some already worked in this scenario.

thank you

For a VM you can use Etherchannel at switch level + IP hash on vSwitch side to aggregate more NICs.

Hey jvidalll

Vmware have SRM (Site Recovery Manager to implement contingency on another site.

You can use VM replication tools like Quest vRanger 5 or Veeam Backup and Replication to replicate your VM to the other site but i don't remember if this kind of tools are cluster aware.

I hope this information help answer your question.
