If ESX host in cluster lost connection to storage what will happen?

Hello Everybody

Could someone clarify if the HA-agent is monitoring the storage availablility on a ESX host or is it only network availability over the COS vSwitch?

HA does not monitor your storage, only heartbeat of your ESX(i) Hosts and VMM, which is part of HA can monitor heartbeat of your guests, if the Vmware guest tools are intstalled.

Thanks Troy thats what I thought but I could not get it confirmed anywhere. Do you know any solution to solve this?

work with your storage team, they probably have the proper tools to monitor and alert of such problems.
