Ha Failure

Hello,

I am running a 4 nodes-cluster under Vmware 3.5 and vCenter 2.5.

Everything sounds good except that one node regularly loose its "HA configuration" e.g the host is configured to run HA inside the 4 nodes-clusterand works fine for a while but at a time I got an error message "HA agent has an error"...

If I try to "Reconfigure for HA" sometimes it works fine, sometimes not and in case of it works, a moment later the host loose its configuration again 😕

Every other nodes works fine.

Does any one has an idea ?

Thanks for your reply.

Nho,

Ensure DNS is working correctly.

Check the host can sucessfully lookup the FQDN of the other hosts, as well as the shortname.

Make sure you can ping the other hosts, and check your /etc/hosts file for incorrect host file entries.

Hope this helps
