Hi

You have can max 5 Primiaries in a cluster (the rest are secondary servers) if you loose from 1 to 4 primaries at the same time HA will still work. Other words saying HA needs at least One (up and running) Primary nodes to work.

Hi Artur ...

Thanks for the Responce ...

If any one of primary host dead the HA will continue ..with the "Master Primary Node"

There is only one Master Primary Node for Cluster ...this will act as a Failover Coordinator ...

If the Failover Coordinator becoms Unavailable ....How the HA Cluster will work ....

Can u explain the Indepth Process ....??

If all Primaries get isolated or crashed at the same time HA will not work

Yep

All primaries in a cluster works as HA coordinators

Hi I gone throu Yellobricks HA Deepdive ...

from that i found there will be only one Active Primary Node ....

plese go through the below QA ....

How many Active primary or fail-over coordinators exist and what is the main function of it?
A. There will be only one Active primary node and is responsible to  restart the VMs on primary and secondary nodes, when two hosts fail then  restart VMs of the first failed and then the second, decide where to  restart VMs, keep track of failed attempts, determine when it is  appropriate to keep trying to restart the VMs.

As per my Understanding ... Master Primary Node is Down HA Will Fail ....

any way let me try the same with my test environment to confirm the same ....

euuh that is not correct. there will be 5 primaries. one of those primaries is the failover coordinator aka active primary. if that primary fails the role will transfer to one of the other remaining primaries.

only when all primaries fail at the same time you'll have an issue.

you can find a lot of these details in my books by the way: http://www.yellow-bricks.com/books/
