Hi -
I'm running a 2 node ESX 4.0 Update 1 cluster. I have 5 virtual machines on this cluster 4 of which run with FT enabled.
The guests are running Server 2003 SP2 with the latest patches and version of VMWare Tools, also Hardware Version 7.
For the past 2 days we have been experiencing random server reboots (or shutdowns in some cases) and a lot of strange errors in the various logs (Windows, ESX).
One error which jumps out at me, especially around the time we had failures is "Failover Unsuccessful for this virtual machine". Any thoughts how I go about troubleshooting this and where I might start to look to find a solution?
