Hi,

Are there any desktops or laptops supported by VMware FT?

Thanks,

Not supported does not mean it will not run just that if you run in to questions you will not be able to get support from VMware  - Since this only for test purposes you should be ok - http://vm-help.com/ or http://ultimatewhitebox.com/ for information on finding desktops/laptoops to run ESXi

Are you talking laptops/workstations that are virtualized? If so yes they should be supported by FT - if you are talking about usings a laptop or workstation as your ESXi host then no it will not be supported because I do not know of any desktop or laptop that is on the HCL - this does not mean that you won't be able to get FT to work on unsupported hardware -

Thanks for your answer.

Yes it is exactly what I mean. I need it for test purposes.

So how can I run FT on unsupported hardware like unsupported CPU?
