Does enabling HA reboots VMs ?

Hi,

Could you please confirm, if I enable HA on vCenter Cluster reboots VMs ?

Because, I see below error after enabling the HA on the VMware Cluster

Virtual Machine SQL01 in Cluster Compute in MyDataCenter is vSphere HA will attempt to restart it after a failure.

 

And in Windows SQL Cluster, I see below error after enabling HA on the VMware cluster

OpenPartitionFailure & ReleaseDiskPRFailure

physical Disk resource name: Cluster Disk 4

Device Number: 6

Device Guid: {15ce190b-25bc-ceb2-e0da-6a6bf9a5a1b3}

Error Code: 1168

Additional reason: ReleaseDiskPRFailure"

Error      1/22/2021 4:07:22 AM  Microsoft-Windows-FailoverClustering  1795       Physical Disk Resource   "Cluster physical disk resource terminate encountered an error.

 

Physical Disk resource name: Cluster Disk 2

Device Number: 4

Device Guid: {f4a74ee4-af9f-818e-e924-f769ccf0ed5f}

Error Code: 1168

Additional reason: ReleaseDiskPRFailure"
