Change Datastore for vCLS VMs

Hi,

I've a problem with vSphere 7.0U3 Essentials Plus. At a customer site we're replacing a SAN storage. All VMs are migrated to the new storage without problems (shutdown and migrate). There are only the two vCLS VMs on the old storage left. With my License I can't storage migrate running VMs and I can't really shutdown the VMs, they're restarting immediately.

So what is the supported way to get these two VMs to the new storage. Will I have to put the whole vSphere down and unregister/move/reregister these VMs on esxi level?

Kind regards and thanks for the help

Micha

If you specify the preferred Datastore for the VMs, then this should solve it.

I have not tested though with that license.

Thanks for this hint, it worked with the Essentials Plus License of our customer.

Thank you
