Running all the latest updates (incluing VM Tools), so I don't believe this is due to outdated software and patches.
When trying to deploy from NetApp VCS Rapid Cloning Utility, If I choose to use a OS Spec I have created (And I know works great when deploying from within vCenter) I get the following error.
vCenter Host and the Host being cloned is Windows Server Standard 2008 R2 SP1 64 bit
"Customize virtual machine guest OS HOSTNAME Customization of the guest operating system 'windows7Server64Guest' is not supported in this configuration. Microsoft Vista (TM) and Linux guests with Logical Volume Manager are supported only for recent ESX host and VMware Tools versions. Refer to vCenter documentation for supported configurations."
I have tried numerous workarounds I have seen googling this error, but none have resolved the issue.
