Wonder if someone can clarify something with regards to Shutdown-VMGuest, if there is a running task on the VM and the command is run, does this just go into the queue or will it ignore the running task and run the command i.e. shutdown the vm even if there running tasks? Would it be necessary to check if there running tasks and if there isn't then shutdown the vm? That being the case how can i check if tasks are running for a specific vm?
