Hi all,
I've been trying to find information on how vRA 8 uses Ansible. Looking at the links listed below my understanding is that the inventory file should be populated with the ip adress of the server and a subdirectory with the ip of the server as name will be created under host_vars directory. When I deploy a server the hostname is stored in the inventory file and used as a name for the subdirectory under host_vars directory. This may be a problem since we have many domains and potentially the same hostname may be used in different domains. Is there a way i can force the ip to be used? vRA version is 8.6. Thanks.
