Collecting alarm messages

I frequently get mail messages whose title sounds like " Alarm alarm.VmCPUUsageAlarm] alarm.VmCPUUsageAlarm changed status from Yellow to Red" reporting CPU or memory alarms.

I need to create a report about alarms reported during a given time (last 7 days?) to collect all the alarms reported in a given vSphere infrastructure and, for each alarm:

• the time the alarm was reported
• the involved host
• the involved VM
• the kind of alarm (CPU, memory, ...)

Is there any sample I can start from?
