Hello,
I am currently testing the auto-deploy feature in lab and I'm having some issues with the stateless caching:
I configured stateless caching through host profile and my host is shown as compliant to the profile in the vSphere client.
If I stop my TFTP / DHCP server, my host seems to boot on the cache (I have an alert flag in my vCenter stating that it is not compliant with the profile)
I tried to stop the auto-deploy service to check the stateless caching feature (as per Auto Deploy Stateless Caching – Auto Deploy Server Outage | VMware vSphere Blog - VMware Blogs )
It reboots and try again indefinitely without booting on the cached image, that makes me think I might have a problem with the cache.
I want to verify that the ESXi is well cached on the disk. Is there a way to perform such a check?
How can I find the cache location?
Thanks,
Sevan
