unable to pair platform and proxy

Hi all,

new VRNI install. On the proxy, after setup is completed, I get an error: "Failed to parse provided shared secret. It can happen when wrong/partial key is specified." The key is correct.

Any ideas on what to check for additional error messages? Thanks!

It may take some time to configure..

Failed to parse provided shared secret. It can happen when wrong/partial key is specified.

Please check pairing status after 15 minutes using CLI command 'show-connectivity-status'. If the problem persists contact VMware support.

You are on the right track, in my experience "set-proxy-shared-secret" fixes the problem as the PSK wasn't fully copied or there were extra spaces/characters included.  The best is to use the copy to clipboard feature from the browser.  I have seen it take 10+ minutes, so expect to wait after making the change.

I have same problem. Command 'set-proxy-shared-secret' does not help.
