Snapshot stun times

Hello everyone

My vSphere environment includes several ESXi 6.5 servers and a vCenter 6.5, as well as vRealize Log Insight 4.6.

I want to use vRealize Log Insight 4.6 to find out how long each VM is stopped at a snapshot (stun time). During my research I found the vmware.log in the home directory of each VM, in it the time under "Checkpoint_Unstun: vm stopped for 6763 us" is logged e.g. if a snapshot was taken.

My question is, is "Checkpoint_Unstun" the right value for this project and/or how can vRealize Log Insight display this stunt time for each VM in a graph?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Stefan

If what you're finding is in the VM folder vmware.log, you first have to get that info forwarded to vLI; it does NOT get those logs by default, and if you have a very large environment, it may be impractical to do so.  I have not done it yet, but here is some good info on the subject...
