vROPS 6.7 User does not have any roles assigned

Hi there

I have an issue where vCenter Administrators cannot log into vROPS 6.7.
When logging in I get "User does not have any roles assigned".
Upon further investigation the vrops priviliges are not available in vcenter.

However when the user is a member of the vsphere.local admin group the user can log into vRops.

The vCenter install is new, vROPS was existing and has been pointed to new vCenter.

Any ideas as to what is missing?

you need to add to the role the vRealize Operations Read Only Role permission, i.e. vRealize Operations General User Role 1
