What type of data are you looking to collect? Once you define the type of metrics you require, find or install an iSeries element manager to collect that data. The integration method will depend on where the element manager stores it’s data, and what access methods it supports. For example, if the metrics are stored in a relationship database, you may be able to use the General SQL adapter to query the database and pull the information into vCOps. There are other methods available too, such as the HTTP POST adapter.
