does the latest v6.6.1 vROps finally locate orphans/zombie vm's?

previous vrops versions did not so using esxi shell or powercli was best methods

it's interesting that the original version of the old vkernel tool which i had licensed for enterprise use in 2009 provided zombie info so i'm surprised that i've heard vROps does not do that?

I have not seen this functionality in 6.6.x

I've just fired up my lab and I don't see anything in the UI or metrics of a VM for this..

Maybe file a feature request? Contact VMware | United States

Nice find, I was expecting the metric to be a 0 | 1 value for Orphaned so I did a search for orphaned but nothing came up.

Nice to know this has been integrated though!

Also I've just noticed that there is a pre-built dashboard for this:

Dashboards > Al Dashboards > Configuration & Compliance > VM Configuration

3rd row down, 2nd widget in is "Orphaned VMs"
