device|total latency vs datastore|total latency

when i select datastore i see datastore|total latency metric while if i select device i see Device:Aggrigate All of Instance|total latency!!!

What are diffrents?? is there any docs about trobulshooting of  storage performance  .?

In vmware there is blog that discusses about storage performance in vsphere

bucause of diffrence of metrics such as KAVG (Kernel Average Latency) in vsphere  and  kernal latency in OPs I need Storage Performamce in vcenter operations manager .

What is your suggestion?

what is every benchmark for analytic of storage in All metric panel . how much letency?how much disk command?how much... is  Good.

How do you analysis your storage performance or resource performance?
