I'm new to VMs. I'm getting an error message right at the very begining of the VCenter installation process that "This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact your Product Vendor".
I'm running Windows Server 2008 32 bit Enterprise on an ESXi 5 environment and its installed on the same HW.
Hardware: Dell R710, 12GB mem, 500GB HDD, processor type: e5620 2.4 GHz quad core, processor's manufacturer part # 60HT4
Is there any way to install VCenter Server 5.0 on a 32 bit processor HW? Is there any workaround to run it on my current HW?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Sam

Sam,
Unfortunately Vcenter 5.0 is only supported on 64 bit.
Is there any workaround on OS64?
If you're running ESXi 5, then your hardware should support 64bit.
If you don't have a 64bit OS, I would suggest you import the vCenter Server Appliance: http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-50/topic/com.vmware.vsphere.install.doc_50/GUID-25FCBA87-5D2F-4CB6-85...
