Unable to create a new policy in VCOPS 5.8.2

Hello,

I am new to VCOPS and would like to create a new policy that I'm planning to attach to a custom group I created. I am logged in as an administrator and do not see the green "+" icon under Manage Policies. When I attempt to go into the Default policy I receive the following script error:

Here is what I am seeing when trying to create a new policy:

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

you can check the current license mode in Admin ui

https://<IP>/admin

in order to use policies, it shouldn't be foundation

I tried that before. I toggled between IE and Firefox. I relaxed the security settings and also enabled IE compatiblity mode. No luck.

One thing I noticed is that the licensing mode is set to Foundation. I added a 5.6 Enterprise license and it was accepted in Vcenter without issue. Since it is 5.8 it must have stepped down the license mode I'm guessing?

Maybe that has something to do with the policy issue?
