Repeated "user x@ip logged in and "user x logged out" messages in events after install

This repeats constantly one after the other and is filling up my lots.

KB search points to  Management Assistant, but I am not using that.

This started happening imidiately after installing the VCOPS vapp.

Thoughts?

Andy

which log is that?

vcops connects ~every 5 minutes to the vCenter to collect it's data.

so if that's vCenter logs, it might be vc ops. Should be relatively easy to identify by either IP or username

Yep. could be vcops.

But can't you tell that by IPs/username?

probably you have the view adapter added to vcops, using it for monitoring of your view infrastructure?

Does not appear I do, if I know how to look that is.

It is monitoring our view environment though.  Do I need to load the adapter?  Still very new to this, just installed the 60 day eval a few days ago.

hmm.

seems like you don't have it-it's installed via separate PAK file addon to the vcenter operations. not quite sure whetheer it's available as an eval though.
