MP for Hyperic Firewall Requirements

Hi,

We are in the process of trying to get vCOPS to ingest data from a Hyperic instance in our DMZ. We have opened port 7443 from the LAN to the DMZ to allow the vCOPS server to talk to Hyperic, but it's not playing ball.

I can't see anything in the documentation about firewall requirements, does anyone have this working?

Regarding the Hyperic MP, that's going to be pushing data to vC Ops UI VM leveraging the HTTP Post adapter, while also handling some of the management from the Analytics VM .

You'd typically be using port TCP 7443 bidirectionally between Hyperic server and Analytics VM, as well as TCP 443 bidirectionally between Hyperic server and UI VM.
