Idle vm's - what calculation/formula is behind it

Hi,

I have found a default report in vrops (we're currently using 8.4) to report on idle vm's.
And also an automated action for shutdown of idle vm's.

The report states "List of the virtual machines which are marked as idle due to lack of CPU, Memory or Network activity" but does anyone know the calculation/formula it is using to determine the idleness?

It is located under Home > Reclamation ... see picture

Note however that vROps only looks at CPU. I created a view for a customer that looks at CPU, memory, network and storage. See my blogpost, also contains the link to download on Vmware Code.
