IBM Power Systems

Hi

Does anyone know if vRealize operations supports monitoring IBM Power Systems. We have a number of these systems and it would be good to have a unified monitoring platform for these

Out-of-the-box vROPS doesn't support hardware monitoring other then information available from vCenter Server. If you want to monitor your hardware, you have to use a vROPS management pack for you hardware.

The solution exchange marketplace contains almost all available management packs for vROPS. https://solutionexchange.vmware.com/store/category_groups/cloud-management?category=cloud-operations...

Sometimes a vendor does provide the management pack directly from it's website instead via the solution exchange. If the vendor does not have a management pack for vROPS available, there are some 3th party vendors creating management packs such as Blue Medora. https://bluemedora.com/

I have searched the solution exchange but could only find a managament pack for IBM Storage.

As an aside,  VMware have outsourced all their 3rd Party managment pack development to Blue Medora

Is your need for IBM POWER AIX monitoring or is it more generally IBM POWER monitoring via HMC?

I'm with Blue Medora and would like to understand your requirements.
