How to create a dashboard for Top-10 VM with highest IOPs?

Hello All,

i am trying to create a dashboard for TOP-N VMs on a datastore cluster based on Total IOPs.

General Top-N for total IOPS was easy to get but not able to relate it to a DS cluster!

Appreciate any input on this!

Regards

Samesh

Thank you for the your response  @ and @.

The problem with my query was, there is no direct relationship of VM to the datastore cluster and hence the relationship was not available.

But i was able to achieve the requirement and wrote about that in my blog, hope this will help others as well.

Hi,

the topic is also covered in this post. See if you can take a cue from the correct answer link:

Did you tried using custom groups where you add the datastores as member in? Use the custom group in a Top-N view to see if you can get the required result.

Was I helpful? Give a kudo for appreciation!
