Hi all
I want to know is there is some method to check Path Down or Path loss to datastores from vRealize 6.0 platform.
I am looking for but I'm unable to find it.:smileyconfused:
Thanks a lot.
Best regards,
In vcenter task & events, I can see an info message:
Lost access to volume 56b9cab9-XXXXXX (datastore_name) due to connectivity issues. Recovery attempt is in progress and outcome will be reported shortly.
How can I check that if that issue is addressed in vRealize?
Log Insight can do that for you. You can get the error from Log Insight send to vRops.
I'm not sure from vRealize but you can can SSH into a host and run esxcfg-mpath command like I have listed below. You can see the state is active and it will list all paths.
~ # esxcfg-mpath -l

Check the Multi Pathing in the Storage. or else "esxcfg-mpath -L | grep <naa.ID> it will show you the available paths to your LUN
