Dashboard Sharing: unable to open the page IE,Chrome, FF

I am hoping someone can shed some light on the problem I am having with Dashboard Sharing feature in 7.0 with "Unable to open the page" messages after accepting the certificate. It doesn't matter which browser I am using IE11, various flavors of Chrome and Firefox. I did find this KB regarding IE11 not working as a "known issue" and I am wondering just what I am missing in this. All the docs, blogs, vids I watch all have click, copy URL and share it's that simple nothing regarding special configs, caveats, etc.

Answered my own question... appears it matters how you are logged in when you create the share url you must be logged in with the local login and not the VC login. Went in with Local Admin and the shared links work like a champ.
