vcloud director endpoint discovery

I have a vcd endpoint and discovery runs with no errors but no compute resources are found so I cannot create an reservation against this endpoint. Any ideas?

Before you create reservation you will have o create enterprise group using the compute resources or organizations that are fetched from vCloud Director.

Is anything showing up in your enterprise group tab? click create and see the list.

That did the trick many thanks I did not realize that it was necessary to create a new enterprise group. I thought I could use an existing one

for what it's worth you can use an existing enterprise group but you need to add the compute resource to it in order to start data collection on that host.  We don't collect all by default for performance reasons.

If you are using Automation center 5.1 and have allocation based OvDC's on vCD you will not be able to create reservations on vCAC. this was fixed in the 5.2 release i think.

Sorry replied through phone. I meant pas-as-you-go allocation model Smiley Happy If you are using 5.2 then it should work.
