vRops does not provide correct data on oversized servers

Hi Team,

vCenter does not provide actual CPU and Memory utilization values, Its been confirmed by comparing the vcenter Data with server monitoring tool. 

For example - One of the servers memory utilization is low in vcenter performance report but for the same server the memory utilization is high in monitoring tool.

If this data is incorrect, then Analysis can't be done correctly by vRops in terms of right sizing.

A couple things to keep in mind about performance data displayed through vCenter versus vROps:

1. vCenter polls every 20 seconds, vROps by default polls every 5 minutes. So you could be looking at two different data points, or you could be seeing data that is or is not rolled up.
2. vROps, through policy definition, can calculate memory in a few different ways depending on what version you're on. By default, it calculates more conservatively than what vCenter displays, which is probably the source of the discrepancy.

In addition to posting your screenshots of what you're seeing, you should post screenshots of your policy settings that applies to that VM. This is also better for the vRealize Operations forum and not the vRealize Automation forum.
