vRealize Automation 7.6 is now available

What's New?

  • Networking
    • NSX Integration – customers can now configure both NSX-T and NSX-V for different clusters on a single vCenter Server.
    • On-demand private networking support
  • Install and configure
    • New VAMI-UI summary page
    • New Additional cluster health alerts that are configurable (VAMI)
    • SNMP service - facilitates the monitoring of the vRA node resources such as CPU, Memory and other
  • Upgrade enhancements
    • Upgrade will back up all configuration files
    • Upgrade API improvements – fine grained progress reporting at API level
    • Upgrade flow extended configurability - steps could be configured for later execution
  • Custom Forms Enhancements
    • API Validation
    • Datagrid Enhancement – out of the box RegEx support
  • vRealize Orchestrator
    • New fully-functional web-based user interface
  • Common
    • Overall multiple bugfixes and improvements
    • Enforced API tenants isolation with on/off toggle

Compatibility, Installation and Upgrade

[IMPORTANT] Automatic upgrade from 7.1 will fail to upgrade management Agents (It is described in the Release Notes known issues and KB will be provided as well).

Has the fat java vRealize Orchestrator Client been completely been removed in version 7.6,

leaving us with this radical different and ugly web interface for developing?

Any issues in using the 7.5 client agains a 7.6 server setup?
