Make sure that the vcac service is running on the IaaS box.

What is vcac.idaho.local?  That's your vCAC appliance, correct?

Try opening another browser window and going to the site manually - https://<vcac vapp fqdn>/shell-ui-app

Can you get to the SSO appliance?  Looks like maybe it is having trouble on redirect.  You should get two unknown cert prompts from the browser - one for vcac vapp and the other for the sso vapp.

SSO - vcia.idaho.local

VCAC - vcac.idaho.local

IAAS - iaas.idaho.local

just redid, everything (again Smiley Happy) and took snapshots

finished install of VCIA and did the configuration (ala :5480)

     configured NTP source

     configured SSO

     configured SSL

     joined AD

then finished the install of vcac  and did the configuration (ala :5480)

     configured NTP source

     configured vcac host name (vcac.idaho.local)

     created self signed SSL

     connected to SSO (vcia.idaho.local:7444)

then finished the installation of the iaas software

And I'm still dropped to the inaccessible page.

https://vcia.idaho.local returns nothing (5480 works however)

That all sounds about right - do you have reverse DNS records for all three?

Problem solved for me

Unable to connect page after redirecting to vmware identity applaince websso

point 8 page 30 of the install documentation

Append the SSO port :7444 to the host name in the SSO Host Name text box.

For example: vcac-sso.mycompany.com:7444. SSO cannot function correctly without the 7444 port.

Can you check /var/log/vcac/catalina.out on the vCAC server and see what's going on there?

I'll redeploy, making sure to have :7444 in the host settings
