Workflow Designer Install

Anyone had any luck installing the workflow designer on a non-vCAC based system? Install guide mentions only requirement is .NET Workflow 4.5, install completes, but I'm unable to launch. The system has access to the repository without any firewalls in between.

When I launch the designer I get two errors in the Windows Application Event Logs, one is a 1206 error, can't recall what the other one is. Both appear to be related to .NET but I can't get around this, had a peer test and he gets the same result.

Hi, I installed designer multiple time on a client machine (windows 7) shouldn't be a problem.
be sure that you are entering the server's FQDN's in the setup, and not forgetting to mention port 443 at the end.
example: vcacweb01.domain.com:443 ; vcacmgr.domain.com:443

Thanks, turned out to be the certificates - this is in my lab environment so I'm using self-signed certs. Importing them into the trusted root authority on the system I was trying to use the Designer allowed it to successfully launch.
