VRA 8 - Is there a way to move a virtual machine to a different deployment.

I'm trying to figure out if there is away to move a virtual machine to a different deployment, or move a deployment to a different project.  I figured I could just re-onboard a VM to the correct project and deployment, but I'm not sure how to delete the existing deployment without deleting the VM.  I can't onboard a VM that already exists in a deployment.

Unfortunately it's not possible at this time with vRA 8.

The release notes say their is a way to offboard vms now in 8.4. I have not tested it yet. But I have tested offboarding a vm manually through the postgres database. Here is a link to the how-to guide. Then you can onboard the VM where you see fit.
