Unable to add a new proxy agent

Hello,

I'am trying to add a new vsphere proxy agent in vRA and i'm facing some issues.

I followed the vmware documentation and also several comments on various blogs (like Adding Additional vCenter Instances to vRealize Automation | ValCo Labs)

and i always get this error when trying to "test" the model manager web service host name or manager service

I tryed to launch the setup on another computer, i get the same error.

It seem to come from my IAAS server, but everything seems to be OK

For information, all services are installed on the same W2K12 VM except the DB that remains on another server.

Did someone has an idea ?

thanks

Are you using signed or self-signed (default) certificates?

Also, have you tried not using the FQDN? If you installed without the FQDN then the certificate is issued without the domain. It appears in your screenshot that you have tried with FQDN. In a browser navigate to https://<IAAS Server>/repository/Data/MetaModel.svc and view the certificate. Whatever the common name is on the certificate is what you need to use.

Hello willonit

I use self signed certifcate, and the generate certificate contain the FQDN name.

I tryied what you say :

connect on the IAAS server and navigate to https://<iaas FQDN>/repository/Data/MetaModel.svc/ and i can see the XML content.

When i check the certificate name, i see some information about the certifcate.

It written SERVERNAME.domain

This is what i entered in the proxy agent installation, and still get the same error Smiley Sad
