Failure on Customize virtual machine guest OS

While building a VM I am running into the following error during Customize virtual machine guest OS stage:

"A specified parameter was not correct: spec.nicSettingMap.adapter.ip.ipAddress"

My environment is composed of vRA 7.3, vRO 7.3 and vCenter 6.5. Does anyone know a solution to this issue?

Thanks.

It looks like the issue was with "VirtualMachine.Network0.Address" which was coming out empty.

Show your vCenter customization spec and what you have defined in the network portion.

Select "Use standard settings". You don't need to tell it to use DHCP here if you're doing that through vRA.

I just tried "Use standard network settings" but got the same error.

What are you doing as part of that provision workflow?

This was part of guest OS customization.

Convert your template to a VM and check the configuration of your vNIC. Ensure it is connected to a valid port group. You may need to flip the setting around.
