Endpoint Agent issue

I have installed vCAC and am working on getting the endpoint functioning, i created the endpoint and installed the agent.  During the agent install i am using http as the transport protocol.  when i start the agent service i get this error in the log file:

This exception was caught:

System.Net.WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 10.115.64.78:80

Is there something i need to so on the vCenter server to accept this action?  During my endpoint setup my address should be http://<vCenterName>/sdk correct?

Hi,

I believe it is https://vcentername/sdk

The message "because the target machine actively refused it" probably means that no service listens on the target machine on port 80, so probably you need to configure https
