Difference between Orchestrator configuration and endpoint

Hi,

I have a question that I'm not of the answer so I wanted to ask you:

There are 2 places, within vRA to configure vRO:

1. Administration -> Orchestrator Configuration

2. Infrastructure -> Endpoints

What is the difference between those 2?

When the vRA is using the first one and when the other?

Thanks!

#1 is for XaaS blueprints. Essentially publishing vRO workflows as catalogue items.

#2 is for vRO extensibility. The ability to call vRO workflows during machine lifecycle states.

Thanks!

And one more question, is it possible define 1 vCO in the Orchestrator configuration and a different vCO in the Endpoints (both the vCOs are in a cluster)?

If the vRO instances are clustered, then no. The cluster is treated as a single logical vRO instance.

If you have 2 discrete clusters, then yes.

You also need the vRO Endpoint when using NSX ...
