Can't get to shell-ui-app

HI All,

I recently installed vCAC 6.0.  It seemed to install successfully.  All 19 services appeared as registered, but I couldn't get to https://vcac.domain.com/shell-ui-app.  It just said Page Not Found.   So, I rebooted the Identity and vCAC appliance as per the troubleshooting guide.  Now I still can't get to the shell-ui-app page and one of my services hasn't registered (the sts-service).  Any ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks for your help!  I actually got it figured out.  As much as I hate to admit it, it was user error 😃  On the Identity appliance I hadn't specified the :7444 in the Host Settings, but I had done it everywhere else.  Once I added in the :7444, applied it, and restarted both the identity appliance and vcac appliance it worked.

If all of the services display as registered this means that they are up and running. The STS service would usually not show up as registered so this is fine. The most likely use case is some that the url can't be resolved to the ip of the machine. You should verify the network, ping and make sure that the VCAV VA is resolving to the domain name you have in the url. Could you please try just  https://vcac.domain.com This is a simple home page that should indicate if the problem is with the network or some application issue.

I'll give that a try.  Unfortunately I tried restarting again and now barely any of my services are showing up as registered.  I'm hoping if I give it a little more time it will register the services again.

Edit:  Actually, interestingly enough I tried it on a different browser and they seem to be updating to registered.

Okay, I'm able to ping all of the components properly by their FQDN.  I can get to https://vcac.domain.com/ just fine.  However, I'm still unable to get to the shell-ui-app.  I even tried clicking on the link in the https://vcac.domain.com/ to see if it was just user error.

Running out of ideas but a few more checks. Could you access this url:  https://vcac.domain.com/component-registry/services/status/current  ? It should show some kind of xml with the status of the services. This is to make sure that the same web server could be reached via the browser. Also, the https://vcac.domain.com/shell-ui-app/ redirects to a few different places automatically in the beginning. Could you please check that when you see the  Page Not Found the url is still  https://vcac.domain.com/shell-ui-app or it has changed. Thanks.
