unable to package appstack

I am trying to create a packaged appstack. from app vol manager I created my application and package, pointed to packager virtual pc.

when I log into the packager pc, I don't get the prompt that indicates that I can start installing my application. After a long wait I get "time out" error. below is my svservice.log file. only the last parts.
