app volume 2.9 and vmware view limked clone

Hello,

I try to assign apptack to vm vdi vm.

When i assign appstack to un vdi vm (linked cloned) the atachement failed

I have this message

Skipping attachments for "Computer <UNI\VM-002-TEMP$>" because "Computer <UNI\VM-002-TEMP$>" has no associated VM

the vm exist on my vcenter and dns record to.

it's very strange because when I try to an classic vm all is ok

Can you help me

Please install App Volumes agent on the VM and retry.

Does the computer has writable volumes attached? If writable is attached, please check if it is assigned for user based or machine based.

If user based, then AppStack should also be assigned for users only.

At this time no writable volume

Can you double check if App Volume agent is installed and running on the computer?

Restart the service and check please.

Yes. You can also install agent on the parent VM (linked clone) and recompose.
