Writable Volume Monitoring

Are there any ways within vROPs or App Volumes to monitor and report on the % used of a writable volume? I know you can see the percentages in AppVol manager, but looking for more dashboard/alerting capability.

During our pilot of Windows 10 we ran in to issues where the Start menu would no longer function, explorer.exe began to fail. Once the Writable was disabled everything went back to normal. Before we move to production, looking to find some way to avoid having this issue.

Any recommendations on tools would be great.

You could calculate the percentage used of the writable volume from within the database.

Just check the snapvols table, there is a field there that stated writable (1 is yes Smiley Happy). and also the size of the writable and the usage of the writable.

This won'let you see if a start menu is corrupted or if any other functionality doesn't work anymore. Regarding the start menu, what version of the agent are you using? Because this used to be an issue with the 2.11 agent but i haven't seen it anymore with the 2.13.1 agent to be honest.
